"My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord, my spirit rejoices in God my savior." Luke 1:46-47
How great and glorious is the Lord God Almighty! As I pulled into the beautiful riverside city of La Crosse, Wisconsin in my well-seasoned CR-V with my mom twelve days ago (the feast of the Assumption of Mary), I was overwhelmed with joy of God's goodness. The prayers, planning, and preparation had been flowing for months, and finally, I was here, ready and able to do God's work in reaching His lost sheep.

My team arrived consecutively throughout the next couple of days that week, and we have been settling in, gearing up, and resting (somewhat) before the students arrive this Labor Day Weekend. We spent our first week acclimating to La Crosse, getting to know the Newman Center staff and parishoners, and training together as a team on some mission-basics. We went on a team "offsite" at the end of this past week to the Wisconsin Dells, a popular vacation spot in the midwest only an hour and a half away from La Crosse for some leisure, recreation, and team-building. This week, we will be zeroing in on our goals for the campus movement and beginning our Fall Outreach season with the students' arrival this weekend. Below are some pictures from our adventures in La Crosse these past twelve days. Thank you for all your prayers and support during this exciting transition. Please keep the students of UW-Lax, my teammates Theresa, Matt, and Cullen, the Newman Center staff, and our chaplain Fr. James Kurzynski in your prayers!
